What this previewer supports

This is a small Markdown renderer written for the site itself — no third-party library, and it runs entirely on your device. It covers the syntax most everyday writing needs: headings (# through ######), bold (**text**), italics (*text*), strikethrough (~~text~~), inline code (`code`) and fenced code blocks (triple backticks).

At block level it also handles unordered lists (- / * / +), ordered lists (1.), block quotes (>), horizontal rules (---) and tables (cells separated by | with an alignment row of ---). Links are [title](URL) and images add a leading bang: ![alt](URL).

On the safety side, angle brackets and ampersands are escaped before anything is rendered, so raw HTML tags and scripts never execute. Link and image URLs are limited to safe schemes — http(s), mailto, tel, anchors, relative paths and data:image — while anything else such as javascript: is replaced with a harmless placeholder.

Press “Copy HTML” to take the rendered markup with you. Nothing is uploaded: the text and image URLs stay on your machine.
